Post Shed
Hi My basin ovulated around 30 days ago, and has not gone into shed. I suppose I want to tell if she is actually gravid at the moment or not and if I did actually see ovulation or not! A the moment she is continually basking at the hotspot of 92 F. Can you give me an indication of time scales for pos please and if its possible for a non gravid female to bask at 92 F? Thanks Kevin.

Kevin, Just be patient it may take a little longer. I would think it would be normal for any emerald to bask at 92. Ed M.

Swelling again
Hi Thanks for response. (Ed) I have been waiting after her swelling for my basin to go into a shed cycle however after 40 days still no joy and she definately did swell for a few days and then reduce in size, no food has be given to her over this period and she had no Bm.Now on day 41 after the initial swelling another swelling in the lower third of her body! Is this common at all to have two ovulation events or am I not seing ovulation any advice would be great because I am totally confused. K :

You surely saw the folicle development first and now is ovulation. Sometimes the folicles are very notorius and is very easy to confuse with ovulation. Good luck with her!

swelling
Hi Ive seen follicle development in Chondros many times and after this ovulation. This however seemed like a swelling then a reduction and then another swelling you must be correct however but the swellings were identical and would have expected follicle development to be smaller than the ovulation?? Thanks K

Niko is right she is probably getting ready to ovulate. Ed
