Demise of this site!
This site is going DOWNHILL rapidly. Danny sold many of us pins that NEVER materialized. He won't even respond when asked about them. What was the money supposed to be used for, obviously not maintaining this site. The spam is WAY out of control. Is there anybody monitoring this shit?

I wouldn't worry about the pins as much but I understand you'd wanna know what the money you send is used for, nobody has heard fom Danny since the spam first appeared, does anyone know, he could be sick or have personal problems (just another point of view not saying that's the reason) The Spam annoys the hell out of me as well and I had been thinking about making my own forum, if all you guys would be interested in creating an account on this new forum ? just a thought, I beleive Danny still deserves a change but this is even starting to annoy me (and I'm incedibly patient) so let me know what you guys think! I would be interested . Do it Jurgen! The pins probably cost less than $1 to make. My problem is with Danny letting 6 months pass without ANY RESPONSE. I don't need a pin , but I would appreciate my money counting for something!

I would be interested Jurgen, providing it would be a TREE BOA forum. I wouldn't want to see zillions of posts of multi-coloured ball pythons etc on it.

I'm in! A forum is only as good as it's members. And I second that confetti ball python remark from Jules. P.s. Jurgen you are a natural born optimist, never lose that.

Yeah. It kind of sucks. All the spam is OUT OF CONTROL! I wouldn't think it's be to hard to delete the spammers memberships. One thing about this site though is here still seems to be a lot of Tree Boa fans! I like coming on here and seeing the latest stuff going on in peoples collections. I have written Danny in the past w/ out any response. Thought he was just a secretive person or something? He certainly doesn't want any conversation with me about his new locales! Eli

My problem with the spam is that the forum loses its flow and continuity. And when you guys "bump" things, it just makes things more disjointed. Why is it that Danny can't "delist" spamers and prevent them from posting? Also, Danny is very dedicated to tree boas and this forum. We should give him a chance to get things under control before creating a new forum. Spam has really had an impact on our lives in many areas. It is quite a nuisance.

Hello. I participate mainly on the Hortulanus forum so many of you are not too familiar with me. I emailed Danny a few weeks ago when the spam really started getting out of control. I passed along the message that people were concerned about him and hoping that all is well. He responded back to me thanking me for the heads up. He told me that he needed to spend some time taking care of the spam situation. He actually did log into the site that same day and deleted a bunch of the spam on the main forum (again, that was several weeks ago). But the spammers quickly returned, obviously. Like many of you, I offered to help. I'm not really looking be a moderator... but if he needed someone to login and delete spam daily, I was willing to do that task. He's been MIA from the hortulanus forum as well. I find it all odd. I think we all have the same general sentiment about him in that we hope all is well on his end.

Hey guys, I too hate the spam but let's not lose focus that this site is far, FAR better than the alternative and with no BS spin, such as trying to post as different people, ect to drive traffic. It's been here for us without asking too much in return. Last I heard Danny was working in Florida on some stuff with limited internet access due to being very remote. Yes, the pin thing is a WTF situation, however, I know Danny to be a good guy and believe that he's got his hands full and hasn't been checking out the site as of late. The unfiltered spam is a perfect example of this. I ask for people to be patient because at the end of the day, minus the spam this site rocks face and I enjoy checking it out. Heck, half of Norm's day would be shot if this site ceased to run! If you don't do it for the love of Corallus, do it for the love of Norm!! -Matt
