2010 diamond project
Here is another diamond project I have planned this fall. She is a 5 year old female I produced with the characteristic I am looking for for my diamond projects. She also has some very nice coloration.www.EmeraldTreeBoa.com

Gorgeous! Any guesses on size/weight?

MG42- 04-27-2010

She is about 1600 to 2000 grams and about 4 feet+long.

Fantastic female, Ed. I like her pinstripe how it accents those big diamonds. Is this her first time at it?

You gonna put that crazy pin-stripe male you have with her Ed ? The Basin priest ?

MG42- 04-28-2010

John, This is her first time. I probably could have bred her last years but I decided to wait. Jules that is where is starts to get difficult for me to decide. I will have 12 breeder males this fall, 10 of them are smokin and 8 are either diamond males or strong texbook . The priest would be a good choice but I'm afraid of loosing the stripe on allot of the babies. I was thinking my hold back #3 diamond male or his brother #6. 6 is a little more defined than 3. That will be an unrelated breeding the priest has the same mom. Here is a shot of #3.www.EmeralTreeBoa.com

Here is an old shot of 6, you can see he is a little more tuned in than #3. I will take a fresh pic of him tonight, he is getting very dark. What do you guys think?

MartinR- 04-28-2010

Ed, I like #6. He looks really clean!

Jules- 04-28-2010

Ed, I like #6. He looks really clean! Seconded! and the diamonds look 3D.

Tree Boa- 04-28-2010

Yeah, looks like #3 has bigger diamonds and crossbars.

MG42- 04-29-2010

Here is a fresh shot of dia#6. Very clean markings as Martin stated and he is picking up some serious darkness as well.

Both are outstanding snakes, very hard decision. I'd choose the one who has longer crossbars and bigger diamonds

MG42- 04-29-2010

Tree Boa to make the decision even harder I have 3 other diamond females that may go this year. I also have another female that produces babies with long crossbars that I want to introduce to the diamond world as well. Ed

Wow!!! Yep definitely #6 he is freakin awesome!!!! Clean Clean Clean! M

Ed your diamonds are just remarkable. It's good you have several choices to make on pairing, the thing is, any one would probably yield great results!
